How to set up Sutton Email on an Android?

Please follow the steps below on how to set up Email on an Android:
  1. Login into Zoho: https://mail.sutton.com
  2. Enter your Sutton email and password


  1. Tab in the headshot icon/profile picture located in the top right corner and click 'My Account'

  1. From the left-hand menu, click the second icon, "Security" - Scroll down to find "Application-Specific Password."

  1. Click Generate New Password

  1. Enter the App name (i.e. iPhone, Tablet) and click Generate

  1. As it's considered a sensitive operation, please verify yourself tab on "click here" (blue and highlighted letters)

  1. Verify your identity by entering your password and hitting "Confirm Password."

  1. Your password will be generated and can be used to log in from one application. (Please write it down without spaces as it won't. be displayed again and you'll need it later)

  1. All set. 
You can delete an application-specific password whenever you longer use that device or application or want to revoke access to that application.



  1. Kindly proceed with server settings in your device:

  1. From the home screen tap 'Settings'

  1. Scroll Down and click 'Accounts and back up'

  1. Click 'Manage Accounts

  1. Scroll down and click 'Add Account.'

  1. Scroll down and click 'Mail'

  1. Set up mail screen and select 'Other'

  1. Enter your information in the spaces provided.
  2. Address: Enter your entire email address (e.g.,myname@sutton.com)
  3. Password: Enter the password you generated in "Application-Specific Password" step #8
  4. Click: Manual Setup and Done.

  1. Click IMAP or POP3 based on your preferences.
  2. POP allows you to download emails directly from the server. However, the two sources are not synced.
  3. IMAP manages your email directly from the email server. Thus when you delete an email from your smartphone, Outlook, or other devices, that email will also be permanently deleted on the server.

  1. Complete the information as per the instructions below.
   IMAP
  1. Incoming Server Name: imappro.zoho.com Port: 993 Require SSL: Yes
  2. yourname@sutton.com / Enter the password you generated in "Application-Specific Password" step #8
    POP
  1. Incoming Server Name: poppro.zoho.com Port: 995 Require SSL: Yes
  2. yourname@sutton.com / Enter the password you generated in "Application-Specific Password" step #8

  1. Scroll down to complete the server settings as per information below:
     Outgoing / SMTP
  1. Outgoing Server Name: smtppro.zoho.com Port465 with SSL or 587 with TLS Require SSL: Yes
  2. yourname@sutton.com / Enter the password you generated in "Application-Specific Password" step #8
